Turkish Hazelnut Truffles



Serves 20-25 truffles
500g dark chocolate (chopped)
250g dairy cream
40g butter
200g chopped and roasted hazelnuts
Step 1: Heat the cream until hot, then pour it over the chopped dark chocolate.
Step 2: Stir until smooth, or use a hand blender to ensure a velvety texture.
Step 3: Add the butter and mix until well blended.
Step 4: Pour the mixture into a container and refrigerate for 4-5 hours, or until it has set.
Step 5: Once set, shape the chocolate into 20-25g balls using oiled hands.
Step 6: Roll the balls in the chopped roasted hazelnuts, then smooth them into rounds using your palms.
Step 7: Place the truffles in paper cups and refrigerate until ready to serve.
